TU Delft Stories: Rise of the mosquito in a changing climate
Research is rarely the work of an individual scientist. More often, they are part of a multidisciplinary team of experts, tackling significant and complex issues and challenges. One of these challenges is the multifaceted – and underreported – effect of climate change on human health.
A team made up of atmospheric scientists, virologists, mosquito experts, hydrologists, bird watchers, foresters, and water managers got their feet wet this summer to investigate what happens when you flood a piece of land in the Dutch polder.
