Marije Wassenaar

Marije is a business developer (sr.) at Erasmus University. She is the linking pin between researchers, government, public & private partners to help develop research projects.

Marije previously worked at TU Delft where she has been program manager for Data science and Blockchain. Prior to that she worked at different NWO divisions; Social Sciences, support staff for the Board and Science.

Helping to bring knowledge from academia to science and connecting scientists with public & private partners is what gets her excited in her job. Given her past experiences in science policy, she understands many of the different aspects of science, its challenges and also its value.
