Maarten Boonekamp

Hey! My name is Maarten Boonekamp, I graduated in Climate physics in Utrecht and I started in October 2023 as a PhD candidate on the PDPC frontrunner project on Climate change and vector-borne virus outbreaks. My job will be to run climate simulations under different climate and land use scenario’s. With the output from these simulations, I hope to provide the necessary information for others to estimate the spread of vector-borne viruses in future. I like to contribute to a safer future this way!
