Ilse is a PhD Candidate in the SYNC (Society Youth Neuroscience Connected) lab of Professor Eveline Crone. She investigates the development of antisocial behavior, by looking at multiple levels of explanation (e.g. behavioral, neural), and by using several complementary techniques (MRI, computer tasks, questionnaires). She also works as Communication and Outreach officer within the Healthy Start team.
Within Healthy Start, Ilse is passionate to share the newly acquired convergent trans- and interdisciplinary knowledge about health-related research and methods with researchers, stakeholders and the broader audience in a clear and appealing manner, by using visualization and design.
