Participation is open for NCOH partners and associates. Participation is free, but registration is required. This is an onsite event only, there are no online options. Registration and a preliminary programme can be found on the event website.
Solutions to Global One Health Challenges
The Netherlands Centre for One Health (NCOH) bundles top-leading academic research institutes in the Netherlands in an open innovation network focused on One Health: public, veterinary, wildlife, and ecosystems health. It aims for an integrated approach to face the global risk of infectious diseases and to develop durable solutions regarding grand societal health challenges. This virtual science-driven institution focuses its research and increase of knowledge on antibiotic resistance, emerging infectious diseases, smart farming, and healthy ecosystems. The NCOH stimulates collaboration between academic and research institutes, governments, NGOs, public health institutes, and industrial partners. The NCOH partners are Erasmus Medical Center Rotterdam, Academic Medical Center Amsterdam, Leiden University Medical Center, Radboud University Medical Center, University Medical Center Utrecht, Leiden University, University of Groningen, Utrecht University, and Wageningen University and Research.
Prof. Marion Koopmans, Scientific Director of the PDPC is also Scientific Director of the NCOH track Emerging Infectious Diseases, and will give a keynote lecture titled ‘Predicting arboviruses climate tipping points – the One Health PACT‘ at the NCOH congress.
