With its focus on real-life challenges in the Rotterdam delta region, combined with an interdisciplinary approach, the Resilient Delta educational programme will be uniquely positioned to educate our students to become the professionals of the next generation. Considering the needs for well-educated resilient professionals among our stakeholders, Resilient Delta will prioritise the development of a compact, multidimensional educational programme. This programme will make use of new educational methodologies as well as new teaching approaches. To make a running start, appropriate existing educational programmes/tracks will be used to include Resilient Delta topics and themes. This will be done by adding societal and/or economic tracks to existing technical tracks, or by broadening existing tracks by adding complementary education from the perspective of other disciplines. New educational programmes will also be developed, accredited by both Universities.
