PDPC Congress Poster Awards 2023

As we fondly reminisce about our recent congress that took place on Monday October 30, we are excited to highlight the outstanding contributions made by the 29 posters presented during this event.
These informative and creative posters on a diversity of research in the field of pandemics and disasters enriched our congress experience.

We are delighted to have presented the first two poster awards at the first PDPC annual congress: The PDPC Jury Award and the PDPC Public Award.
The winners of the PDPC Poster Awards 2023 are:

PDPC Jury Award

Winner: Maarten de Jong
Poster Title: Use of passive samplers as sewage surveillance tool to monitor a hepatitis A outbreak at a school in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

PDPC Public Award

Winner: Karin van Vuuren
Poster Title: Caring during crises: An ethnographic case study into practices of caring during crises, focusing on the flooding of Limburg in 2021
