Content of the PDPC Congress

Preparedness is not a destination: it is an ongoing practice. Virus outbreaks, extreme weather events and cascading disruptions are not distant possibilities; they are, unfortunately, foreseeable realities. Preparedness is built long before a crisis unfolds, and needs an interdisciplinary approachIt is embedded in research, in policy and in the health and education systems we develop. Which lessons learned from previous crises can guide new and innovative prevention, early warning and effective response strategies? What groundbreaking research is being done to strenghten our preparedness?

More information on the theme, program and speakers will be announced later on our event website.
