In the NOS-documentary about the graduation research of Olympic champion Yara van Kerkhof within the So Fit & Fun Center at Erasmus MC-Sophia Children’s Hospital.

With this beautiful project, supported by the Hartekind Foundation, a next step is taken in the ambition of Healthy Starters Arend Van Deutekom and Maaike Kleinsmann, to help children with a chronic illness to be able to play sports freely and safely. Exercise is extremely important for these children, and how special it is that this research is being done by Yara who was operated on her heart as a 7-year-old in the Sophia Children’s Hospital and is now Olympic short track champion!
