While the world has hardly recovered from the previous pandemic, doctors and researchers are already preparing for the next one. With, for example, a variant of Ebola. And above all: with an Outbreak Management Team (OMT) that takes more account of the human side behind the statistics.

“One early conclusion is clear: you cannot stay in your silo, talk past each other, and keep coming up with completely separate recommendations,” says PDPC medical director Anja Schreijer.
