Job offer: Management Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive management assistant to join our Healthy Start team. Healthy Start is a unique collaboration between Erasmus University, Erasmus MC and Delft University of Technology – the Convergence Alliance – that focuses on optimizing opportunities for young people, from preconception to young adulthood, regardless of background and starting position.

Job description
As a Healthy Start management assistant, you are part of the (growing) Healthy Start support team and you provide secretarial and administrative organizational support to the Healthy Start program manager. In addition, you are the first point of contact for the team members and the MT of Healthy Start and you take up their requests or put them out where necessary.

The main activities are:

  • Planning and organizing meetings, including facility matters.
  • Maintain Healthy Start contact database.
  • E-mail correspondence and mail handling, including Healthy Start-wide mailings.
  • Support in arranging / setting up various events / meetings.
  • Maintenance and update HS website.
  • Administrative support of the Healthy Start MT and Team.
  • First point of contact for practical questions from the Healthy Start community.

The above activities are performed independently.
You will be functionally managed by the Healthy Start program manager and you will be formally employed by the General Administrative Service (ABD) of Erasmus University Rotterdam. Healthy Start is a new program that is growing, both in terms of support team and involved researchers and professionals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
You have completed at least MBO working and thinking level and an administrative or secretarial training. You have several years of work experience in a similar position. You like to take initiative, have a great sense of responsibility and work carefully. You easily connect with various colleagues and build great collaborations. You work independently and know how to keep an overview and set priorities under high workload.

In addition, you have:
Good communication skills (both oral and written);
Excellent knowledge of the Dutch language and a good knowledge of the English language B2 (both oral and written);
Knowledge of MS Office, quickly masters systems;
A good dose of accuracy and a sense of responsibility;
Living near Rotterdam is a plus.
