Summary

The primary goal of this co-creative project is to assess what multi-problem young adults and their treatment staff consider important when using VR-interventions to train social skills and resilience to criminal behavior, aggression, and substance abuse. Together with our collaborator “De Nieuwe Kans”(DNK), a Rotterdam-based day-treatment program for multi-problem youth, we aim to identify preferred modules and tailor interventions. Multi-problem youth are considered important decision-makers in shaping the VR-scenarios, fostering agency, and increasing motivation, therefore enhancing treatment feasibility and success.
