Follow-up Theme Event

At the start of the new academic year the four Health and Technology themes all organized matchmaking events to broaden the community of interested academics, engineers, health professionals and to help in preparing flagship proposals (deadline for pre proposals November 1^st.More than 200 colleagues participated in the events, either pitching their own ideas for flagship proposals while looking for additional expertise, or offering their own knowledge and expertise to strengthen developing consortia.

For all those who participated in these events, many thanks for your inspiring and active presence. We were impressed by your energy and innovative ideas for Flagships proposals.

The events have shown that many are inspired to join the Convergence Health and Technology community. In anticipation of new events which will be organized in some weeks’ time (please find below the dates and times, as well as the location), we would like to reach out to you with the following request. Please contact the themes’ leads, the core group members or the support office in case you have concrete questions regarding the Call for preproposals for Flagships, or if you wish to connect with other colleagues in the community / if you have matchmaking requests. The same holds true if you wish to participate in a Flagship and would like to connect with the current teams who are preparing an application and/or wish to merge your own application with another one to develop an even stronger case.
