The One Health PACT consortium is a research collaboration that brings together experts from various disciplines across the Netherlands. We aim to gain systemic understanding of mosquito-borne diseases and of how their emergence and transmission is influenced by major environmental and social changes. After four years of groundbreaking interdisciplinary research, collaboration, and innovation, the One Health PACT consortium is proud to present its final event.

On Wednesday, 26 November 2025, we will gather at Theatre Walhalla in Rotterdam to celebrate the conclusion of the One Health PACT project. During this day, all PhD candidates will share the results of their research and the integrated findings that have emerged from this unique collaboration between universities, research institutes, and public health organizations.

This closing event is more than a presentation of outcomes – it is a showcase of the power of the One Health approach, demonstrating how joint efforts across disciplines can lead to knowledge that contributes to a healthier, more sustainable, and more resilient future.

Throughout the day, we will reflect on the consortium’s achievements, discuss how the results can be translated into policy and practice, and look ahead to the future impact of One Health research in the Netherlands and beyond. The program will include research presentations, interactive discussions, and a festive reception to close the day together.
