Healthy Start Young Development Day | Futures Literacy Lab
About the Lab
In a rapidly changing world, the ways we create and share knowledge are continually evolving. Futures Literacy is the ability to envision multiple and diverse futures and to use these perspectives to gain new insights into the present.
In this Futures Literacy Lab, we will explore how our anticipations shape the knowledge we produce, the systems we engage with, and the possibilities we can collectively imagine. Through guided exercises and collaborative sense-making, we will uncover the assumptions that influence our current choices and create space for emerging perspectives.
Futures Literacy is a powerful practice for transdisciplinary research and learning. It helps us identify hidden assumptions, foster collaboration across different disciplines and sectors, and envision alternative pathways beyond traditional boundaries.
