Join us for the third Healthy Start colloquium: ‘Children’s hospital of the future’. This event brings together experts from various disciplines to share their unique insights on how to empower our medical workforce with digital innovations, inspiring transdisciplinary research methods and tips and tricks on how to move from innovative idea to successful implementation.

Speakers
Keynote
Dr. Jennifer Fang is a neonatologist and associate professor of pediatrics at the Mayo Clinic Children’s Center in Rochester Minnesota, U.S., and medical director of the Teleneonatology program. She will share her experiences with developing a multicenter telemedicine program: bringing innovative technologies from idea, to pilot, to upscaling.
Pecha Kucha presentations
Josephine Wagenaar is a pediatric resident at Erasmus MC and Healthy Start PhD candidate within the Healthy Start ambition ‘Pediatric hospital of the future’. She will elaborate on her experiences with designing an implementation pilot.
Mariska de Heer is a pediatric intensive care nurse at Erasmus MC and the first Convergence Nurse. She will tell us about her ambition to give nurses a greater degree of ownership and participation in the practice of their profession.
Moderator
The colloquium will be moderated by Rob Taal, pediatrician-neonatologist at Erasmus MC and Ambition Lead of the ambition ‘Pediatric hospital of the future‘.
Panel discussion
During the panel discussion Saba Hinrichs will also join the group of experts. She is an associate professor at TU Delft and Healthy Start Ambition Co-Lead, working on how we strengthen health systems by ensuring our (health+) demands are met by care supplies. She uses systems and design approaches in complex decision-making environments.
