Health Minister Ernst Kuipers challenges you to work on the future of our health care system. Specifically, as you might know, in a Convergence Hackathon on June 29. In the video below, professor Richard Goossens of Convergence Health & Technology invites you personally.

According to Goossens, we need everyone to hack our healthcare system. ‘From students to starting or experienced researchers. From fundamental to applied sciences. From the medical to the technical fields. It’s all hands on deck!’

In the hackathon ‘Battle of the Minds’, you compete against each other in multidisciplinary teams. Health minister Ernst Kuipers will unveil the challenge, after which the teams have to come up with an idea within 2 hours. The best teams can win up to 25,000 euros in research funding. They can use these funds to develop their idea into a sustainable solution.

You can register on the Battle of the Minds web page. When registering, you can choose to sign up with a group or as an individual. The Convergence support staff will provide multidisciplinary teams.
