Celebrating 5 years of PDPC – Anniversary 21 May 2026

The PDPC is going to celebrate its 5 year anniversary on 21 May 2026 in the Tuin van Verbondenheid at the Erasmus MC (Rotterdam). During the event, the PDPC board will showcase research from the past years, and present the next steps of the PDPC. Moreover, valued external partners of the PDPC will talk about the importance of preparing for disasters and pandemics.

About the PDPC

For the past five years, the PDPC has conducted research to determine how best to prepare for future crises, such as water-related disasters or disease outbreaks. Through its five frontrunner projects and public health research initiatives, the PDPC has focused on prevention, early warning, and effective response strategies. By leveraging high-level scientific research and extensive collaborations with partners in the field, the PDPC translates knowledge into real-world impact, ensuring that its findings directly inform crisis preparedness and public health action.
